Mindy Lindheim’s aviation journey began at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where a single discovery flight changed the course of everything. She earned her B.S. in Aeronautics while pursuing her flight ratings and eventually went on to spend six years at Textron Aviation as a Factory Demo Pilot and Aircraft Sales Director. She later joined Lone Mountain Aircraft as an Aircraft Sales Representative specializing in high-performance owner-flown pistons and jets, a role she continues today alongside her other passions as a podcast host, published writer, and aviation content creator on social media.
Mindy is an accomplished aviator holding an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, a Certified Flight Instructor certificate since 2015, and PIC type ratings in both the Citation 525S series and Citation 700 Longitude.
North Georgia Aviation has been shaping pilots in the region since its founding, and Mindy is proud to carry that legacy forward. She acquired NGAV from close friend and mentor Paul Bagley, who grew the school into a trusted training center built on a commitment to safety and exceptional instruction. That standard is one Mindy shares completely and holds NGAV to every day.
Acquiring NGAV was a natural next step rooted in a simple belief: that aviation has the power to change a person’s life, the same way a discovery flight once changed hers. Mindy is based in Buford, Georgia, and shares her love of aviation with her husband Kevin, also an avid aviator, professional pilot, and former air traffic controller at Atlanta Center and Orlando Approach. Together they explore new destinations in their vintage 1957 Cessna 182 Skylane.
