Rob credits his Army pilot grandfather and WWII B-17 pilot great-grandfather before him for his inspiration to fly. Prior to becoming a pilot, Rob served in the U.S. Navy, which gave him the tools for success and the discipline required for flight training. He began his journey with NGAV as a student, receiving both his Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII) ratings, and has been working as an instructor ever since. Rob currently serves as NGAV’s chief pilot and is pursuing a B.S in aviation at Liberty University (c/o 2024). He looks forward to earning his CSIP certification and helping the company grow, with goals of eventually flying in the Air Force Reserve or corporately while remaining active as a flight instructor. Antarctica is the coolest place he has visited…so far.
